Hospital Engineering was established in 1976 as a part of the Buchmann Group of companies.
Right from the start the medium sized, family owned business concentrated its efforts on the export of custom tailored solutions in the medical field, addressing the problems of health ministries, targeting the programmes of bilateral and multilateral donor agencies, large corporations with in-house medical facilities and charitable organisations.
In the year 1978 the company moved from Tuttlingen to near-by Wurmlingen into a large, modern office block. This meant not only more office space but also room for an indoor swimming pool, a bowling alley and other staff amenities. Employees and their families and friends have access to these recreational areas around the clock. This is just one among many features that demonstrate that Hospital Engineering represents a class of its own.
The company is an equal opportunity employer with a staff complement of 40 men and women in Germany and as many as 120 worldwide, amongst them many biomedical engineers from different nationalities.
Customer satisfaction is synonymous with customer proximity. In order to fulfil this promise, Hospital Engineering has a network of overseas branch offices, representative offices and agencies.
